Dermal Fillers

Younger skins have an abundance of collagen. Ageing will turn dynamic lines into static lines as collagen is depleted. Dynamic wrinkles are caused by facial expressions and repetitive facial movements. As the skin and structures under the skin age and loose its elasticity, it causes a loss of volume in all areas of the face. HA Fillers can be used to “refill” these pockets and restore volume loss whilst sculpting the face.

HA fillers are protein based and assist in the accumulation of moisture in those areas that shows loss of volume and reduces visible hollows.

HA fillers have different viscosities, which will determine the longevity of the injected filler. Low density fillers last between 6-9 months, while high viscosity products will last up to 18 months.
